New to the West Virginia State Park System are the luxurious houseboats at Stonewall Jackson Lake State Park.  Enjoy waterfront views and recreation on West Virginia’s second largest lake.  The Stonewall Jackson fleet includes three 45 ft houseboats and one 40 ft houseboat each equipped with all of the comforts of home.  The 45 ft boats can accommodate up to 8 people with a queen bed stateroom, double bed stateroom, dinette sleeper (king bed) and sleeper sofa (queen bed).  The 40 ft. boat can accommodate up to 6 people with a double bed stateroom, dinette sleeper (twin/full bed) and sleeper sofa (queen bed).

                Each deluxe houseboat is well equipped and ready for your vacation enjoyment.  Houseboats may be docked at our marina with full electric power and water hook-ups or anchored privately using generator/battery power and water from your holding tank.  The boats provide seasonal comfort with A/C and forced air furnace.  The galley style kitchen is complete and ready for housekeeping.

Houseboats are powered by 90HP outboard motors.  (Fuel and oil are not included in rental fees.)  Carts are provided to help you with loading and unloading gear to your boat.  Our marina store is open where you may purchase fishing supplies, fuel and snacks.

A 2 hour training session is provided to show guests the operation of the craft and 24 hour assistance is available by 2 way radio and/or cell phone.

• Groceries (ice, bait, snacks and souvenirs sold at the marina)

• Personal hygiene items.

• VCR tapes, cassette tapes, CDs

• Books, games, puzzles, etc.

• Fishing gear (WV fishing license required).  Please read the WV Fishing Regulations.

COTTAGES

Our guest cottages are new to the park.  The cottages are available as two, three or four bedroom and are on or adjacent to Stonewall Jackson Lake.

Each cottage comes complete with full kitchen, washer/dryer, large deck, dinning room, living room, full bath, linens, dishes, pots, pans and utensils.  In the two story three and four bedroom units an additional full bathroom is located on the second floor.  A two bedroom accessible cottage is also available.

Access to the cottage community is via a causeway that limits vehicle traffic.  For boating enthusiasts a boat ramp for the exclusive use of cottage residents is available.  There is also ample trailer parking in the area.
